5th Global Trajectory Optimisation Competition


Dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Vladimir Vasilievich Beletskij.

Beletskij Vladimir Vasilievich (2.05.1930), Soviet and Russian scientist, corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences and professor at Moscow State University, is a prominent expert in celestial mechanics and spaceflight theory.

"Спутник-1" — the first artificial Earth satellite, was launched into an orbit in the USSR on October, 4th, 1957.

Workshop

The GTOC5 workshop took place on September 9, 2011 at the Main Building of the Moscow State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, A 12-12 (12 floor).

The schedule:
9.00 - 10.00 Meeting and registration of participants (Entrance in MSU);
10.00 - 10.10 Opening of the GTOC5 workshop;
10.10 - 12.45 Teams' reports, award;
13.00 Lunch break, excursion to Moscow State University museum (28 floor);
15.30 - 16.50 Discussion;
17.00 Dinner.
