Laboratory of Large Random Systems was founded 24 December 1991. The head of the laboratory is professor V.A.Malyshev.
Main directions of scientific research in the laboratory are mathematical statistical phisics, quantum field theory, neural nets and queueing networks, random processes and fields, probabilistic problems of computer science.
The list of collaborators: professor M.V.Menshikov (vice-head of the laboratory), doctors A.S.Gairat, A.A.Zamyatin, A.D.Manita and V.V.Scherbakov.
There are courses which have being read by workers of the laboratory: basic course in Probability, special courses "Advanced Probability", "Markov chains" i and "Neurocomputers, pattern recognition and statistical phisics".
The laboratory hold special seminar "Neural nets".
