Natalia V. Denisova was born, studied, and works currently in Moscow.
In 1989, she entered, as an undergraduate student specializing in Mechanics, the Dept. of Mechanics and Mathematics in the Lomonosov's Moscow State University. Since 1991, she studied at the Chair of Theoretical Mechanics, under the scientific supervision of Prof. V. V. Kozlov. Her undergraduate research paper titled "Symmetries and topology of dynamical systems with two degrees of freedom" was successfully defended in 1994 and received an excellent grade. In the same 1994, she finished her undergraduate studies and received the Masters degree in Mechanics and Applied Mathematics. She also holds the Diploma with Honors and has the perfect grade point average.
From 1994 until 1997, she was a Ph.D. student at the Chair of Theoretical Mechanics. Under the scientific supervision of Prof. V. V. Kozlov, she had written the doctoral thesis on "Symmetries and integrals of dynamical systems whose configuration space is a two-dimensional torus", which was successfully defended in June 1998.
From 1997 until 1999, she held a position of Junior Scientist (the standard official title in Russia for newly introduced faculty and post-doctoral research collaborators) at the same place. Since March 1999, she is a regular faculty member and Junior Lecturer at the Chair of Mathematical Statistics and Random Processes Theory originally founded by A. N. Kolmogorov in 1976.
She teaches the discussion section on the following subjects:
Her scientific interests include: dynamical systems, the integrability problem, and related issues from the qualitative theory of differential equations, differential geometry, and topology. She is also interested in statistical mechanics and hydrodynamics.
She has 9 published scientific papers.
