You should run some Java-enabled browser to see the output of applet...
(If you cannot see anything above, then propaply your browser doesn't support JDK 1.1. You need some JDK 1.1-enabled browser -- Netscape 4.5, Hotjava 1.1.2, MSIE 4, etc.)
