Mathematical models of defects of stratified structures based on Discrete Sources Method

The paper is devoted to analysis of mathematical models of light scattering by defects of stratified structures. It has been proposed to employ Discrete Sources Method to provide computer simulation. Details of approximate solution constructing using the posterior error estimation have been examined. Opportunity to discriminate the different kinds of defects is discussed.
